Safety

Protecting those who work in and visit our facilities is our number-one priority at Springs Global. In the U.S. in 2007 alone, we earned 22 awards and recognitions for our safety practices. In Brazil, Coteminas Sao Goncalo do Amarante, RN was recognized as best in state in practices by Instituto Euvaldo Lodi (IEL), CNI, and our Joao Pessoa, PB location achieved First Place from SESI (Social Service in Industry) among large companies for Quality in the Workplace. Additionally, Coteminas in Blumenau, SC was honored with the Fritz Muller Trophy in a special 25th anniversary celebration of the well-noted environmental achievement award presented by the Environmental Foundation. Throughout the world, in accordance with our Code of Conduct, our business partners must provide workers with a safe and healthy workplace environment. Those who provide residential facilities for their workers must provide safe and healthy facilities in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
