Environmental/Sustainability Statement

For many years, Springs Global has aligned and integrated environmental activities with our corporate values. Since 2001, we have been following our own official Environmental Commitment declaration that promises we will:

minimize our effect on the environment, communities where we do business and the public
advise and train associates in environmental matters, actions and responsibilities
reduce waste and environmental discharge emissions
work with vendors to design and supply environmentally friendly raw materials, products and packaging

We are known for strong initiatives in North and South America that stress innovation with a focus on self-sustaining programs. Among many other efforts, in the U.S., we are a charter member of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Agency's WasteWise, a national environmental stewardship program designed to protect the environment and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Furthermore, the company has maintained a long-time commitment to eliminate the use of ozone-depleting chemicals, such as certain cleaning solvents. In Brazil, we have taken great strides to guarantee reliable energy, and 89 percent of the electricity produced is derived from renewable energy sources, primarily hydroelectric. Additionally, we equip manufacturing plants to treat industrial effluents before they are returned to riverbeds. Throughout the world, all Springs Global suppliers must conduct their operations in a manner that will minimize any adverse impact on our global environment.
